God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

October 2015

The big news this month is that we finally moved into our new house!  We are all excited to be in our own house and settling in to the new normal.  We also managed to have a fun month, even with all the unpacking.
Lilly put on some of my lip gloss.

Still need to organize the playroom

Lilly's Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I was able to go with Lilly and her class to the pumpkin patch.  We went to Kurts' Farm, which is located really close to our old house.  The students went to pumpkin school first and learned how pumpkins grow, then they rode the wagon out to the pumpkin patch and got to pick out their own pumpkin.  It was neat to see the interpreter sign during the pumpkin class.  It was also neat to meet some of Lilly's friends and teachers.

Fun Fall Day

We thought we would be moving into our new house today, but since our closing was pushed back until next Wednesday, we found ourselves with a free day.  The kids and I spent the morning at the zoo, since it will be closing tomorrow.  It was a beautiful day for the zoo.  While we were at the zoo, Dave served food to workers at a Habitat for Humanity build.  After the zoo we went to McDonalds for lunch and played in the play place.  Then we picked up Dad and headed to Lincoln Ridge Farm to pick pumpkins.  It was a great day!

Lilly saw the sting rays for the first time.

Liam loved jumping on the 'giant pumpkin'.

Liam went on the zip-line twice.
