God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I had a surprise Birthday Party for Dave.  He had no idea.  We went out to dinner, Uncle Rem watched the kids and called to say Lilly got sick in the basement.  When Dave went downstairs to clean it up, everyone was down in the basement.

When I left the house to walk Mars it was clear - half way through the walk, it snowed like crazy.

Charleston, Day 3

Today was our last day in Charleston.  It will be hard to leave the warmer weather, blooming trees and flowers, and the sunshine.  Charleston is such a welcoming, delightful city.  It was a great little get-away.  This morning we walked around the tip of Historic Charleston, looked at all the large, beautiful, historic homes along the water, walked through the battery, and then went back to the market.  We found sweet grass baskets.  These baskets were made by slaves and the tradition has been passed down.  They are beautiful and unique.
After checking out of our hotel we drove up to Drayton Manner.  Drayton Manner was built in the European style.  They have preserved the house all these years and allow tours.  Surprisingly, the house has withstood the Civil War, hurricanes, and an earthquake.
After touring Drayton Manner we got drinks and snacks at a local coffee shop and headed to the airport.
