God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

October 2020

We've done quite a bit this month, even with all the new social distancing rules and guidelines.  We have been safe, but have also been living life.

Flu shots - I bribed them with DeBrands afterwards

Luke HATES getting his hair cut.  He screams and squirms.  I hate putting hair dressers through that.  So, I bought clippers and do it myself now.  Dave holds him still and I cut away.

The zoo is open longer this fall (to make up for the months it was closed due to the pandemic).  We enjoyed extra trips.

After visiting the apple orchard, we made apple pie filling to freeze for our Christmas apple bread.

Luke got into Dave's shaving cream

Our dear van died.  We had to get a new one.  We said a tearful goodbye to our trusty old van.

Instead of trick or treating this year, we had a Halloween party at the office for our small group bible study.  The kids "picked" pumpkins from the garden.  They had a costume parade around the backyard and we had a pinata.
