We spent the day exploring the island. We started with a trip to Ted's Bakery, which is the home of the original cream pie. The kids had amazing doughnuts and Dave and I had pie for breakfast. Only on vacation is that allowed! Then, we went for a hike to find a waterfall. We drove along the rainy side of the island and enjoyed the tropical view. We then stopped at the Dole Plantation and took a train ride. On the ride, they explain how pineapples are grown. We spent the afternoon playing in the pools and slides again. Dave and I enjoyed a date to celebrate our anniversary at the 'fancy' restaurant called Ama Ama (yummy yummy). We watched the sunset as we ate. What a perfect way to celebrate ten years of marriage!
It was fascinating to watch the chickens that wander around freely.
