God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

London, Day 3

Today we walked, and walked, and walked!  We started the day by sleeping in.  We watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics last night, which started at 12:30am, so we were pretty exhausted.  Once we were up, went to Kensington Park and had afternoon tea at the Orangery, which is located right next to Kensington Palace.  It was a picture perfect day - blue skies and whit puffy clouds.

We could see Kensington Palace while we ate

After our lovely tea, we walked through Kensington Park and Hyde Park to see some of the memorable sights.  I really wanted to see the Peter Pan statue again and Mom had never seen it and wanted to.  It was a gorgeous day!

After walking through the parks, we went to Buckingham Palace.

We ended the day at Harrods, which is quite an experience.  We had supper in the Conservatory Restaurant inside the store.  The basement of the store has a memorial for Princess Diana.

Mom had a Monkfish and I had a club sandwich

dessert - strawberries, sorbet, cream, and merengue
