Nassau, Bahamas & more on the Disney Dream

On Saturday, our port of call was Nassau in the Bahamas.  We enjoyed some time on the beach. 

The ship also had several dance parties and character meet & greets.  The kids loved the interactive detective activities on the ship.  Liam solved the case of the missing artwork.  Lilly watched ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with grandma in the movie theater.  We had such a great time, made memories as a family, and would definitely do it again!

Disney Cruise

We boarded the Disney Dream on Friday afternoon.  We explored the ship and found there was so much to do.  Liam had fun on the water slide, Lilly enjoyed the splash pad area, and we all enjoyed the restaurants.  We loved that our waitress went with us to each restaurant.  Our waitress was great with the kids and made them Origami.  Even the man who cleaned our room each day was great with the kids and would leave us animals made out of towels and chocolates on our pillows.  The shows each night were Broadway quality.  

Holland, Michigan

My Mom decided it would be nice to take a little weekend trip to Holland, Michigan to the tulip festival.  I had not been to Holland since I was little and I remember enjoying it.  We left Friday after school and met Grandma and the Shivelys at the hotel.  The next day we went to the wooden shoe factory, many tulip fields, and the windmill island.  We ended the day with dinner downtown Holland and let the kids play at the park before heading home.
