Lilly's 6th Birthday

Lilly decided that she wanted a Pirate themed birthday party this year.  We had a lot of fun planning.  Rick brought Verona and Hudson early to the party.  The kids decorated their own telescopes and then they were each given a treasure map.  They had to follow the map to find the treasure that was 'hidden' in the woods.  They really enjoyed hunting for their treasure. By the time we finished the treasure hunt, more family arrived.  Lilly opened her presents and then we ate.  Everyone had a great time! Hudson cried - he didn't want to leave.  

August 2017

The big news this month is that we started school.  Other than that, we've been trying to enjoy as much family time as possible and get into our new routine.
