Every week that the kids are in school, we consider a success.  We hope they can do in person learning as long as possible.  We are enjoying the weather. Luke and I are enjoying our day trips, especially to the zoo.

Lilly's 9th Birthday

Lilly picked Pokemon as her theme this year.  Uncle Rick and his kids made posters for her party. We started the party with a craft.  Everyone colored and cut out their favorite Pokemon character, then they glued it to a paper plate.  We took another paper plate to make the top and turn the whole thing into a Poke ball.  Then, we had a scavenger hunt - the kids had to follow clues to find the Poke balls in the yard.  The final clue led them to their prize bags.  Next, Lilly opened presents.  Then, we had cake pops, cookies and ice cream.  Lilly invited two friends.  When they left we had dinner with the Harts, Grandma Kusch and Uncle Rem.
