Our Spring Break trip was delayed because the family got COVID. Dave and I had what we thought were just allergies. We were all set to get our first vaccine when I lost my sense of smell. What I thought was just allergies was in fact Coronavirus. We never had any fevers or other common symptoms associated with the virus and for that we are very thankful. We had everyone tested, except Luke. Dave, Lilly and I came back positive and Liam was negative.
So, once we cleared the 10 days of infection, we left for our trip. Our first stop was Maker's Mark in Kentucky. Dave is a huge fan of the beverage and was happy to get a tour, taste some samples, and dip his own bottle. It was a beautiful day.
We ended the evening at the pool at the hotel.
Luke was living the life in the hotel.
