We were in awe of the Biltmore. We walked through the gardens and then toured the house. It was breathtaking. Then, we loaded up and took the LONG trip home. The kids were great travelers. Lilly got car sickness when we were in Ohio, but other than that it was an uneventful trip.
Today we went back to the Historic District. We found Calhoun's grave. Dave just finished reading a biography about him, so we had to see where he was buried. Unfortunately, his statue was taken down a year ago, so we couldn't see that. In the afternoon, Grandma, Lilly and I went on a food tour. Then, we loaded up the van and headed to Ashville to the Biltmore. When we got the Inn at the Biltmore, we were suddenly in awe. We loved it and would love to go back someday.
