Liam's 10 year trip was delayed a year and a half due to COVID. We planned his trip for Fall Break. Not all of New York is back to full swing, but enough is up and running that we were able to fill the weekend with fun-filled, memorable activities. We drove up to Michigan after school on Thursday night, picked up Grandma and then headed to the airport. We took a late flight to New York. By the time we got a taxi and got to our hotel, it was after midnight. We crashed once we took in the view of Time's Square, which we could see from our hotel room!
Friday morning we woke up early and headed starlight to the new Harry Potter store. We got right in and it did NOT disappoint. We felt transported to Hogwarts. After the Harry Potter store we grabbed some food and then walked up to Macys. We then walked up to Rockefeller Center and visited the stores up there, including the Nintendo Store (Mecca for Liam), the LEGO store and FAO Schwartz. We got a quick snack and then rested at the hotel.
Our busy day ended with dinner at a fabulous restaurant called Lattanzi and then Wicked. Liam was awe struck with Broadway!
