We've had a busy month. The end of the school year is always so busy with programs, recitals and other end of the school year things. But, we are enjoying the warmer weather & longer days.
We watched Tinkerbell for the month of May, while Grandma traveled to Rome and Greece. Lilly did a great job taking care of her.
Luke's new favorite thing to do - find worms after rainy days
Mama Raccoon had 4 babies this year
Dave was so excited we got Oriels as visitors this month!
Mother's Day
Lilly had a field trip downtown to the Fort
Grandparent's Day
Liam & Lilly had their end of the year piano recital
Lilly had her ballet recital. It was bitter-sweet as her ballet studio will be closing (at least for a year, since the director is deciding to step down)
Luke had a "Field Day" which ended up being inside due to weather.
Luke's last day of school included a Preschool Program. On to Dinofours!
I’m having a full circle moment today. When the twins passed away we asked that memorials be given to the Central Lutheran Preschool fund. At the time, Central did not have a preschool. When the preschool opened, the students were given a wooden fish or cross paid for by memorial money & were told about Christopher & Connor. The tradition continues, although I’m sure the memorial money has been used up by now & the students no longer hear about how these gifts came to be. But, Luke received his fish today. Marveling at how God can turn tragedy into joy. Thankful for all the kids that hear about God’s love. I feel as though my two oldest sons gave Luke this gift.
