God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Lilly is not able to nap now that she is in school every afternoon, so she gets really tired by evening.

Purdue Weekend

We had a great weekend in West Lafayette!  We left home on Saturday morning at about 8am and got in town just in time to park and walk to the stadium. The kids had never been to a Purdue game (or any football game) and we were excited for them to experience one.  Liam loved everything about the stadium, and asked a lot of questions.  Lilly liked to watch the cheerleaders and baton twirlers and picked up a few moves. Liam especially loved the half time show put on by the band.   After the game we walked back through campus to get to the van.  Then we checked into our hotel, swam, ate at Olive Garden, which was just down the street.  We ended the night enjoying cable TV.
Sunday morning we enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel and then swam some more.  Once we cleaned up we went back to campus to walk around some more.  The weather was perfect all weekend, but was especially nice on Sunday.  We walked into Mackey Arena and took a look around.  While we were taking pictures, Isaac Haas, walked across the court.  He was really polite and gave Liam a high five.  We asked if he would take a picture with the kids and he said yes.  Then, he said he had to get going because he had a massage in 5 minutes.  It was a perfect weekend.  We hope to make this an annual event.

Liam used the Ziosk on the table as the jumbo-torn for his Lego football game.  He was re-enacting all the plays for us while we waited for our food.
