We took a mini vacation up to Grandma Kusch's house. While there, we swam, visited Greenfield Village, went to LEGO Discovery Center, the Aquarium, and ate at the Rainforest Cafe. It was a packed, fun-filled couple of days.
The kids really loved riding the Model T, going into the old farm house and helping water the garden, playing school at the the one room school house, and seeing how glass is blown. We rode the train and the bus. The kids played at the splash pad and playground. We enjoyed a picnic lunch near the plantation house. It was a hot humid day, but that did not ruin our fun.

Independence Day 2016
We celebrated Independence Day at home this year. We enjoyed fireworks at Leo Cedarville. The kids did sparklers for the first time. Grandma Kusch and Remington joined us.
God provided us with a beautiful sunset!

June 2016
We did not take a family vacation this summer, because we are taking our Disney vacation in September. However, we still managed to take some day trips and have fun. The kids enjoyed going to parks and to various library branches.
On the twins' birthday we visited the cemetery. Liam was fascinated by the older headstones and was excited to find our last name. He saw where his great, great, grandparents are buried.
Central's Playground
Liam lost his first tooth!
We took many trips to the zoo and of course saw Liam's favorite animal, the Red Panda.
Splash Pad fun!
We enjoyed a day at the zoo with Grandma & Grandpa Herman and the cousins (Penners and Koehlingers)
Lilly still wasn't completely back to normal after having surgery, so she wanted to be carried.

Liam had his cardio check-up. Things are stable, which is a relief. We talked about what sports would be appropriate for Liam in the future and which rides are safe.
Liam earned another badge and a medal in karate
