God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

Lilly's 9th Birthday

Lilly picked Pokemon as her theme this year.  Uncle Rick and his kids made posters for her party. We started the party with a craft.  Everyone colored and cut out their favorite Pokemon character, then they glued it to a paper plate.  We took another paper plate to make the top and turn the whole thing into a Poke ball.  Then, we had a scavenger hunt - the kids had to follow clues to find the Poke balls in the yard.  The final clue led them to their prize bags.  Next, Lilly opened presents.  Then, we had cake pops, cookies and ice cream.  Lilly invited two friends.  When they left we had dinner with the Harts, Grandma Kusch and Uncle Rem.

Lilly asked for a new bike.

August 2020

This month school started again (in person!).  We have also enjoyed the nice weather and all the vegetables from the garden.  The kids are getting into the new schedule.  Lilly started dance class again (in person!) and the kids are continuing piano lessons (through FaceTime).

The female orangutan really like Liam.  She smiled at him and liked when he put his hand up to the glass in front of hers.
