Concordia Ann Arbor played Saint Francis in football. We took the kids to the game. It was an exciting game to watch.
We took advantage of the nice weather and went to Toledo for the day. We met Grandma Kusch there and went to the zoo and then to the Children's science museum. They had a temporary dinosaur exhibit.
This year for Halloween, Liam suggested that we all be Star Wars characters. Liam dressed up as Darth Vader, Lilly was a Storm Trooper, I was Princess Leia, Dave was Hans Solo, Uncle Rem was Luke Skywalker, and even the dogs joined in. Mars dressed up like Chewbacca and Tucker was Yoda. We hosted a trunk for Central's Truck or Treat. Because it was cold and rainy outside, the event was held inside. That actually worked out really well.
Dave and Liam took a trip to West Lafayette to watch the Boilermakers play basketball. They had a great time!
Lilly and I had a girls weekend in Michigan. We got our hair done, and went to see Andrew Lloyd Weber's play "Love Never Dies." The music was excellent and the sets were phenomenal, but the story line was not great. The character development from the first play to the second was not great either. We still had fun though.
Both kids took field trips this month. It was a busy month!
