God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

July 2023

This summer has been so busy with all the kids' activities. They have done so much. The best part of this month was the cruise, for sure. However, we did slip in some other fun events.

Luna

After Mars passed away, we started researching dog breeds. We learned that the breeder my mom got Tinkerbell from also breeds Sheepadoodles. We thought that would be a good breed. We got on the waiting list. However, 2 rounds of breeding did not take. Then, one of the other dogs got pregnant. The mother lost the babies during a difficult labor. We began looking for plan B. While we researched breeds, we came across the Bernedoodle breed. That seemed like a good option, but we held out for the Sheepadoodle, sinc we were first in the waiting list. When we heard the news about the puppies, I was at the hair salon. The lady cutting my hair mentioned that her daughter got a Bernadoodle from a breeder in Michigan and they were very pleased with her. Right after that appointment, I went on the breeser's Facebook page, found out she had 2 girls ready to go home soon. I called her on the way home and asked if we could meet the puppies. They were scheduled to go home on the 25th. She made an exception and let us take home the puppy on the 23rd. So, without telling the kids, I drove to Midland, MI to get Luna. We were in Livonia already. It was not really on the way home, but we made a roadtrip out of it.  After meeting luna, we knew we were meant to have her all along.
