It's hard to believe our little man will be 3 on Monday!!! Today, we got his three year pictures taken. Liam did a great job, which meant it was extremely hard to decide which pictures to keep.

Easter 2013
We filled this Easter season with many fun activities!
* Grandma and Grandpa Hart came and went with us to lunch on Good Friday. Liam was very excited and a little silly.
* We hid eggs in the yard. It was so nice to have wonderful spring weather.
* On Saturday we went to Central to hear the Easter story and then find more Easter eggs. Pastor Zeckzer used eggs to tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. Liam was front and center for the story and waited patiently for his turn to find eggs.
Hunting for eggs is exhausting!
* After looking for eggs at school we came home and decorated hard boiled eggs. This was a first for Liam. He did a great job!
* Sunday Dave played the timpani in church and Liam and I enjoyed the beautiful service.
* Liam and mom visited the cemetery after church. Easter is the perfect time to visit the place where Christopher and Connor's earthly shells are laid and rejoice that they are in Heaven with their Savior. Because Christ was raised from the dead, we too are raised with him forever!
* When Dave finally got home from church, we let Liam find his Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Kusch.
* We ended the day with dinner and fun with Grandma and Grandpa Herman.

Chicken Dinner Fundraiser
- Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Our adoption fundraiser was a huge success. We are continually amazed with God's provision through this adoption process. We are also humbled by the generosity of others. We feel very loved and know Lilly will feel the same. We raised enough money to cover our hotel costs while in China! This is just another reminder that God equips those He calls to do His will and He uses the body of Christ (our family) to accomplish it.
Thank you doesn't quite seem like a strong enough expression to convey our feelings of gratitude. Please know that we are thankful from the bottom of our hearts! We are especially thankful for Benjamin & Christine Castens who helped sell tickets - in a creative and fun way. They have shown us from their actions what friendship is. They are Christ's hands and feet. We also are so thankful for our parents. How in the world would any of this be possible without them? Mom and Dad Herman helped sell tickets and literally preached to the choir. They also took care of Liam on the day of the fundraiser, so Dave and I could focus our attention. Mom and Dad Kusch drove down for the day to help serve meals. We know it was a long day in the car, but we appreciate it. Besides, they pull off aprons really well!
Now that we are done fundraising we are focusing our attention on the travel portion of the adoption. We're getting closer!
