We started the morning with a trip to the Lego Discovery Center. Dave bought tickets ahead of time and we went right as they opened, which was such a good decision. By the time we left, it was really crowded and busy. We were able to go through the whole discovery center without any waits. The kids loved creating their own cars out of legos and racing them, they loved the 4-D movie, and Liam went to the factory and learned how legos are made. Lilly also really loved the play area that had giant foam legos. There were two rides and a lot of great lego creations to look at up close. The Lego center was located next to a great mall, which had a Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory ranked as one of the top ten kid-friendly restaurants in the Family Fun magazine, so we decided to try it out. Dave and I have been there before and love it, but the kids had never been. It was a big hit! Lilly squealed with delight when they brought out our cheesecakes.

After lunch we drove back to Museum Park and went to Shedd's Aquarium. The kids loved all the interactive exhibits. They got to dress up like penguins and explore their habitat and there was a yellow submarine to play in, which Liam was convinced was an Octonaut Gup.

When we got back to the hotel, we made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and then went back to the pool.
There was a film crew outside our hotel. It was neat to see the camera and all the other equipment. They were outside all day.
