God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

Chicago Trip, Day 1

We had been talking about taking the kids to Chicago for a while.  They had never been there and they are the perfect age for trips like this.  Liam is especially into Science related subjects and he soaks all of it in like a sponge.  Lilly is such a trooper and is up for any adventure.  We left home on Sunday, March 29th after church.  The kids enjoyed a movie and snacks on the way.  When we got to the hotel our room wasn't quite ready yet, so we went straight to the pool.  Once our room was ready, Liam and I settled in and Dave and Lilly walked to get Subway for supper.  Lilly ate three bites of her sandwich and asked to go Night-Night.  We all went to bed fairly early, since we wanted to make an early start on Monday.
