God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

Chicago Trip, Day 3

We started our morning by walking about three blocks down to Millennium Park.  We showed the kids the bean and then walked across the Millennium Bridge.  They are building a great new playground.  Most of it was opened to the public.  We let the kids play for about an hour.

We walked around town, taking in all the views.  Skyscrapers are such amazing things to the kids!  We stopped at Red Robin for lunch.

Keeping ourselves occupied while we waited for our food to be ready

Liam decided to try and take some pictures.

We walked back to the hotel and checked out.  Then, we drove over to the Museum of Science and Industry.  Liam was so excited about this museum, because we looked online before traveling and saw that they had a weather exhibit and an exhibit about space travel (Liam's two favorite subjects).  Seeing Liam's face when he saw the giant tornado was priceless!

These models are the new designs of rockets (Ares II and Ares V) which will be used for missions to Mars.  Liam informed us that these will be the rockets he will be on some day.

Heading home
