God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Liam's 7th Birthday

Liam chose to have a Lego Batman theme birthday party.  He had a party with his friends in the afternoon.  Because it was during Spring Break, not many friends could make it.  However, Liam had fun with the friends that did come.  They decorated capes and masks, then had a Lego building contest, they colored Batman character pages, and had cupcakes and cookies with Joker Juice.
For supper, we had family members over.  The Batman theme continued.  We bought Liam a basketball hoop for his birthday.  Grandma & Grandpa Herman got Liam a basketball.  Grandma Kusch got Liam a new bike.  It was a great birthday for Liam!  I can't believe he's 7 already!

Spring Break Day 2 - Columbus Zoo

Before heading home, we decided to spend a day at the Columbus Zoo.  We had heard great things about this zoo.  It is a Jack Hanna Zoo.  It was a little chilly, but the animals were active, and their wasn't a huge crowd.

Liam's favorite animal has been the Red Panda for a long time.  He was so excited there were some in such a nice exhibit at this zoo.

Spring Break Day 1 - Air Force Museum

We deiced to take a little get-away for Spring Break.  We found a great Drury Inn in Ohio.  The first stop on our trip was to the Air Force Museum.  This museum is huge.  Each hanger represents a different time in history. The last hanger, which Liam was most excited about, was dedicated to space travel and presidential planes. It was an impressive museum!
We had dinner at Olive Garden and then the kids swam in the pool before going to bed.
