God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

Hawaii, Day #1

We are so thankful that our kids are great travelers.  They were so well behaved on our flight from Detroit to LA and from LA to Honolulu.  It was a long day of traveling, but so worth it when we got to the Aulani Resort.

Liam wore the pillow like a mohawk

Lilly's Moana suit was super cute. She loved it!

We went on a whale watching boat.  Unfortunately, we did;t see nay whales - it was towards the end of the season.  It was still a fun trip.

We saw a pretty Hawaii Cardinal

Colter Baby Shower

Yesterday, we surprised our friends with a baby shower.  John & Shannen went with me to Kenya last year.  They have become very good friends, and they are adopting.  They are hoping to adopt an infant from the United States.  They are in the waiting phase, which can be so hard.  So, we decided to throw them a baby shower.  I invited all of the Kenya Mission team members.  I told them my idea ahead of time, but just told Joh and Shannen we were having a Kenya get-together.  They were so surprised and thankful.  I must admit, I had so much fun putting everything together.

I have always wanted to make a diaper cake!
