We had a full day at Legoland. We opened the park. Luke rode his first roller coaster & loved it. Both kids loved the rides & meeting the characters.

Luke's 5 Year Trip & Lilly's 10 Year Trip - Travel Day (February 16th, 2023)
For Luke's 5th birthday trip we decided to take advantage of the long weekend the kids had from school and fly down to Florida. We let Lilly tag along, since she did not get her 10 year trip due to COVID. We picked activities we thought Luke would like. He had never been to Legoland. He is also into sea animals, especially sharks. Luke's phrase at the moment is, "Oh my genius!" he said that phrase a lot on this trip. On Wednesday night we drove to Grandma's house. On Thursday we headed to the airport, had lunch and then flew to Orlando. Both kids were perfect on the flight. The flight attendants let Luke meet the pilots! The pilots gave him Delta trading cards and a pair of wings. When we landed, we rented a car, which was a miracle... we got the last mini van available. When we got to the Legoland hotel, the kids jumped in the pool before it closed.
