A Day at the DIA

Grandma Kush has an annual pass to the Detroit Institute of Art.  They have a special travel exhibit from the Smithsonian featuring the costumes from the Star Wars movie.  They did a great job of explaining all the work that goes into the making of the costumes.  I was impressed with how many small details there were. We also enjoyed looking at the art.  We will need to go back and explore some more.  Liam was fascinated with the medieval weapons and armor.  He also liked all the pieces they had from old churches and from Egypt.
