Next, we took the tunnel to the library of Congress. We had never been there. It is an amazingly beautiful building.
We walked past the Supreme Court Building and headed to the bus, which took us to Arlington National Cemetery. Liam studied John F. Kennedy in school, so we wanted to see his grave. We also watched the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. That is always moving. Liam really enjoyed watching that ceremony.
We rode the Metro home and had some time with the cousins before bed. Although they are three years apart, Andrew and Liam are good friends.
