God has been gracious to us and has been with us through our journey of love and life. He has carried us through some of the most difficult times and has given us joy in the midst of sorrow. He has also been loving and given us abundant blessings. Most importantly, He has provided us with faith. May we share that faith with others.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame".

April 2015

April has been a great month.  We've enjoyed the warmer weather.  We accepted an offer on our house, so we started making plans to move.

Lilly loves to get dressed up.

Liam's God-parents sent him a science kit for his birthday.  Liam loved using the kit to explore his surroundings.

Liam was sweet enough to let Lilly ride with him on his hot wheel.  When we got home from the park, he was patient enough to teach Lilly how to peddle the tricycle.

Liam can do three monkey bars now!

These kids are best friends!

Liam fell asleep watching a movie.  I love the snuggles.

Grandma and Grandpa Herman spent the day with Liam for Grandparents Day.

We visited our lot.  We are all starting to get excited about the new house.

We watched Maggie for a day.  The kids had fun playing in her kennel.

The kids wanted to sleep together after taking a bath and listening to stories together.

We were so excited that the zoo re-opened!  It was a beautiful day.

Liam's 5th Birthday

On Liam's actual birthday, April 8th, we made cupcakes to take to school.  We decided to go with Lego themed cupcakes.  We made the Lego chocolates with a mold I ordered in the mail.  They were a big hit with his PreK class.  After dinner we took Liam to the pet store to pick out his fish tank.  Liam picked out all the accessories.  We think he did a great job coordinating the rocks and plants.

The weekend after Liam's birthday Liam went to Disney World with Grandma Kusch, so we weren't able to have his birthday party that weekend.  We celebrated the following weekend, April 18th.  Liam had asked all year for an Octonauts party.  He really wanted a Gup cake.  I must admit, I had a lot of fun with the theme.  I hope Lilly wants an Octonauts party someday too.

The Gup cake with chocolate shells, sand dollars, and starfish.

The weather was gorgeous!  It was so nice for everyone to get outside and play.

Grandpa Herman bought Liam his very own fishing pole.  It will get a lot of use at their pond this summer.
